The lone (domestic) CD appearance of "The Beginning Of My End" runs 3:16, yet the new Hot 100 Annual states the 45 timing as 2:58. Can someone with the 45 verify?

A quick search on Amazon shows that this song appears on two domestic CD's "The Unifics - Golden Classics Edition: Sittin' in at the Court of Love" and "Slow Jams - The Timeless Collection Vol.2"
Also on the import "Kent's Cellar of Soul Volume 2"

David, I only happen to have promo copies for this 45. They have the same, listed (2:58) version on both sides. However, both sides of the promo 45 do actually run (3:16). So it's looking good that the CD version is golden. Perhaps someone else, owning a 1969 commercial 45, can provide the final confirmation for us, however.
