Saw an ad for this 4 CD collection and what got my
interest was one of the reviewers stated that several
of the cuts were the 45 versions, especially from the
1970's.
Uh, no! All the hits on the CD's are either the
orginal LP versions or alternate takes of songs, while
interesting to listen too were not what I was looking
for!
So if you see an ad or review saying the 45 versions
of his hits are on there they are not!
And since this cost some money, sadly what many might
be looking for, it is not here!
Maybe one day...

Yes they are! Some are very different and worth a
listen!
But oh for the 45 versions!
I have them all, but a new remaster would be nice!
