although not in the db because of it's low peak
billboard
chart position of number 38 in late 1958, my commercial
45
for the johnny cash song 'all over again' issued as
columbia 41251 does not list a run time on the label
but
the song runs 2:03.....in order to recreate the proper
vinyl 45 version from cd, you'll need to edit off the
spoken
intro 'alright, let's go neighbors' and then fade for
0:06
from 1:57 to 2:03 of the edited version....

Ed:

Out of curiosity, which CD source is the basis of your information regarding Johnny Cash's "All over Again"? The reason I ask is because I have the song on his The Essential 2-CD set (Columbia/Legacy 86290) which runs 2:10 but does not contain an "alright, let's go neighbors" spoken intro.

All Johnny Cash compilations seem to have this song in
stereo. The Love compilation has the "All right,
let's go neighbours" intro. I prefer the mono mix, which
has the backing vocals more upfront. The mono mix is on
the various artists Columbia/Epic/Legacy comp,
Whistle Bait! - 25 Rockabilly Rave-Ups, on which
it runs 2:06 (it has one more "All Over Again" before
the fadeout ends compared to the 45).
