carpenters please mr postman

my commercial 45 for the carpenters song 'please mr
postman' issued as a&m 1646 states a run time on the label
as 2:48 and does indeed run that length.....while the
classics cd version is very close to the vinyl 45 version,
it's not identical.....the vinyl 45 is very narrowly
separated....the japanese box set cd version which i
reviewed for brian, matches the vinyl 45, except the
channels are reversed...thanks to john for reversing them,
his version now matches the vinyl 45 perfectly...this 45
run time info s/b added to the db....thanks brian and john
