Not much to report on here.
The LP version sounds best on the 1993 Greatest Hits CD, which has great sound overall and can certainly be found for cheap nowadays. The 45 is an early fade of the LP version. Using the 1993 Greatest Hits CD as the source, put a 32-beat fade from 3:29.8 to 3:47.5. The beginning and end of the fade both fall on the snare hit immediately before the word "the" in the line "the eye of the tiger". Your mixdown will (obviously) run 3:47.5. Nope, not much at all to report on here... |

There's a lot of crap on the radio, but there's only one Crap From The Past.

The Survivor's "Eye Of The Tigar" vinyl LP runs (4:06), the listed time is "4:05" (Scotti Brothers FZ 38062)
The original sound track "Rocky III" vinyl LP runs (3:47), the listed time is "3:50" (Liberty LO-51130) The commercial 45 runs (3:46), the listed time is "3:45" (Scotti Brothers ZS5 02912) The Survivor's LP speed is the same as the commercial 45. The OST LP speed is a little slower than the others. The database designates "LP length" or "45 length" as each CDs. I think that the "45 length" equals the "Sound Track LP length" --abagon |
