my commercial 45 for the paul anka song "i miss you so"
issued as abc paramount 10011 states the run time on the label as 2:26 but only runs 2:21 and is at a slower pitch than the cd versions in the db.....you'll need to pitch the cd 2:19 cd version down to 113 bpm to effectively re-create the true vinyl 45 version.......this 45 run time s/b added to the db... |

It runs 2:21 in mono on my PANKA "Paul Anka Sings His Big
15 Vol. 1" and 2:21 in stereo on my PANKA "My Heart Sings" CDs. |

mono....because the one i have is stereo...it seams a little odd for a song in 1959 to be issued in stereo.... |

Ed, by "this vinyl," are you referring to the 1959 stereo ABC-Paramount 45? If so, the subject of the first generation of stereo 45s from late 1958 into roughly 1961 has been discussed earlier in other threads. All of Paul's ABC-Paramount singles issued in 1959 and through most of 1960 were issued in both mono and the much scarcer stereo formats.
