My U.S. commercial 45 of 'Let The Four Winds Blow' by Roy Brown (Imperial 5439) states the run time as (2:12), but I timed it at (2:01).

I have Roy Brown's "Let the Four Winds Blow" on two non-database CDs:
The Golden Age of American Rock 'n' Roll Volume 12 UK import (Ace 1200) Treasured Tunes 3 Canada import (Stardust 1020) The song contains reverb on the Golden Age CD, while the Treasured Tunes disc sounds "dry". Does anyone know which one is the correct 45 mix? |

I only have the Treasured Tunes Volume 3 CD, on which I do not hear the reverb I hear on my 45.

Looks like the Golden Age Volume 12 Ace UK CD has the correct mix then. Thanks for the clarification, Paul.

Re-examining this song. The 45 does indeed have reverb.
While the Golden Age CD contains reverb it appears to have MORE reverb than the 45. I feel the reverb on the Crescent City Soul CD is closest to the 45. The only issue is that this source is compressed. I've uncompressed and re-equalized this source to make my go-to version. |

The database shows four entries for this, with no added info for any of them.
Do they therefore, contain the correct reverb that was on the 45, or are any of them dry or with too much reverb? |
