my commercial cassingle for the junior mafia song "get money" issued as undeas/big beat 98087 states the version as "original version" with a listewd run time of 4:34 but actually contains the edit and runs 4:05...this info s/b added to the db....

I have two different promo CDs for this song, and I will post the details when I get home. Is the version on your cassingle clean or dirty, Ed?

aaron, it is clean and is identical to the MTV cd version listed in the db as the 45 version....

Thanks, Ed. You know, come to think of it, I believe I only have one promo CD for "Get Money." I have two, however, for "Player's Anthem." One is a 1-track labeled "We swear it's the cleanest version we got." That's actually the name of the edit. I'll post what I have on both songs later tonight.

Here are the promo CD details I have for "Get Money":
PRCD 6573 1. Clean Radio Edit (listed 3:56; actual 4:06) 2. Super Clean Radio Edit (listed 3:56; actual 4:06) There is a large sticker on the front that says "New Clean Versions," so I'm not sure if that's an indication that an earlier promo exists or not. I would imagine the remix, titled "Gettin' Money," was also released on promo CD, but I do not have it. Edited by aaronk |
