My promo CD has the following:
PRCD 7480-2 1. Amended Version (3:57) 2. Edit (3:30) 3. Album Version (3:57) 4. Instrumental (3:53) 5. TV Track (3:58) 6. Amended Acappella (3:10) (There are no printed times on the disc or inserts.) There is one database CD that runs 3:29. Most likely, this is the "Edit" from the promo CD. |

That raises an interesting (or obscure) question: what is a TV track and how is it different from an instrumental? Elektra, especially in the '90s, used to put TV tracks on a lot of 12" promos, but I could never understand what that meant. Can anyone explain?

I think it was intended to be like a "karaoke" version. So, it wasn't a true instrumental, since it still retained some of the background vocals.
