The song "You Don't Know How It Feels" has some alternate promo versions that are not mentioned in the database. I know of at least two promo CDs that exist:

PRO-CD-7222
1. Alternative Fade
2. Album Fade

PRO-CD-7250
1. Album Version
2. Alternative Version

Since I don't own these two discs, I cannot post info on the run times; however, I can tell you what the differences are.

The "Alternative" versions replace the line "let's roll another joint" to "let's hit another joint." The "Fade" versions are just early fades of the full song.

In addition, TM Century issued what I believe are their own custom "clean" versions. For both the Album Version and Alternative Fade, they have replaced part of the word "joint" with part of the word "proud." So, it ends up sounding like "let's hit another joooouuut."

My local top 40 stations always played the Alternative Fade.

Aaron, I have the 'Alternative Fade' from RPM Top Hits. It runs 4:06, but chances are that's an early fade of the fade, lol.

Perhaps Jim has the above promo cd's.

**Edited to add** Have seen the Pro-CD-7222 online with a listed time of 4:12.

My copy of the "Alternative Fade" runs 4:10. It's also from a TM Century CD. Their clean version, labeled as "Alternative Fade (Edited)" also runs 4:10.

My copy of PRO-CD-7222 states a running time of (4:12) for both the alternative fade and album fade version but they both actually run (4:10).

I've never heard any version with "Let's hit another joint", even when it was a current hit...anyone with a copy of the song with the edited lyric willing to shoot me off a dub?

i recently bought the album the song is on, on amazon, on a double album set...makes me glad to know new vinyl is still available on some releases from my childhood...
