Our commercial 45 of "Society's Child" by Janis Ian (Verve 5027) states a time of (2:59), but actually runs (3:10).

I got my hopes up when this Polydor reissue arrived in 1975 following Columbia's success with Janis' "At Seventeen." After all, if a record company says a record is stereo, that means it is stereo. Right? Well, they lied! Can you believe that?! :) I don't think "Society's Child" has ever been issued in stereo.
