The actual commercial 45 running time is 3:02 (45 length)
The actual LP "Mad Love" running time is 3:13 (LP length)
The 45 is faded out ealier than LP.

Given that CD appearances of "Hurt So Bad" run anywhere from 3:09 to 3:17 in the database, your 45 and LP run time info is once again very helpful here, abagon!

I'd like to pass along my thanks to you as well, Abagon. I can see that you're currently "working" on the hits of 1980, which I really appreciate. Especially because, once I finish up with 1978 (which I'm working on now), and then 1979, my intentions are to move backwards in time, to the hits of 1969, and then work backwards from there. Ed also appears to be doing great 90's analysis these days, as well. This is truly appreciated, as I know we still have many 80's/90's "unsolved actual 'single version' time mysteries" left to uncover!

Todd and Jim, Thank you very much for your response.

My 45 is stated 3:03 stated on the record label.(Asylum E-46624-A made in USA)
However, My vinyl LP"Mad Love" is made in Japan. This stated time is 3:17 on the record labe.
This 45's fadeout is starting at 2:54.

I think that Jim's works is necessary for completing perfectly the db. and it's important the running time of the original release 45s and LPs. I mean to inform the hits of 80's like Jim's method some day. Though it is difficult for me to write in English but I will inform acculately in this method, hard. Understand my English writing like the puzzle, please.

Pat:

Since the Linda Ronstadt "Hurt So Bad" 45 is an early fade of the LP, I'm thinking it might be beneficial to database users if this information were to be specifically included in the general song title comments or by noting "LP length" next to each CD entry.
