Does anyone have a copy of the commercial 45 for Long Time?
I'm interested in the actual run time of the 'B' side, "Let Me Take You Home Tonight." |

About 2 months ago I bought a copy of the Long Time US 45 (8-50329), because I'd never heard the 45 edit. Anyway - I dubbed the b-side 'Let Me Take You Home Tonight' a couple days ago, and it runs 4:43. Meaning - it's the LP version, not an edit.
The 1976 Boston vinyl releases typically listed the song as 4:12, whereas later CD versions list the track in the 4:43-4:46 range. Does a 4:12 version actually exist? |

Thanks for the confirmation David. Looks like I don't need
to buy a 45. I doubt many stations flipped to play the B side then. Probably it always has been an album cut. |
