This is off-topic, but if anyone could help, it would be the people on this site.

Recently, I've really been getting into disco remakes of previous hits. I know all
the top 40 hits that are disco remakes of previous hits (e.g. "Knock on
Wood"/Amii Stewart & "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood"/Santa Esmeralda).

So I'm looking for lower-charting and non-charting singles, and album cuts,
that are disco remakes. And advanced thank you.

A couple off the top of my head;
"Bridge Over Troubled Water" - Linda Clifford
"Sunshine Of Your Love" - Rosetta Stone
"Love Is (Still) Blue" - Paul Mauriat
"Here Comes The Night" - Beachboys

Karen Silver did a "Knock On Wood"-style remake of "Hold On I'm Coming" in 1979. You can almost see the Arista execs telling her to do that Amii Stewart thing.

Rosebud was a studio creation that did an entire album of Pink Floyd covers in 1977.

Then there's the Stars On 45 bottomless rabbit hole; there were plenty of imitators, too.

Bobby Rydell recorded a disco version of "Sway" in 1976 (his original was a top 15 hit in late 1960). Frankie Avalon recorded a disco version of "Venus" and hit the top of BB's AC chart in early 1976.
Barbra Streisand covered the Four Tops in early 1976 with a disco version of "Shake Me, Wake Me (When It's Over)." Don't forget Donna Summer's cover of Barry Manilow's "Could It Be Magic" that missed the top 40 in 1976.

Viola Wills released several disco-themed covers in 1979-1980:

If You Could Read My Mind
There's Always Something There To Remind Me
Up On The Roof

Two other artists remade their own hits into disco songs
in 1976, Percy Faith's "Summer Place '76" and Bobby Hebb's
"Sunny '76".

Gordon, this is a great list so far. I like nearly all of
the remakes listed here. Here are some more I like:

Black is Black - Belle Epoque
Groove Me - Fern Kinney
Standing in the Shadows of Love - Fever
Drive My Car - Gary Toms Empire
One Fine Day - Julie
Gimme Some Lovin' - Kongas
I (Who Have Nothing) - Sylvester
Want Ads - Ullanda

This is a pretty random list, but each one has its charms.

Thanks Frank.

Here are some disco remakes I recently discovered (and like a lot), which is
what led me to even ask the question. If any of you are into disco remakes,
you should check these out. They're all on YouTube, only just a few on
Spotify.

Mahogany/Sylvers (there's a single version & album version)
When the Lovelight Starts Shining Through his Eyes/Bonnie Pointer
Forget About You/Claudja Barry (remake of a Motors UK hit)
Jimmy Mack/Bonnie Pointer
Where Did Our Love Go & The Letter/Amii Stewart
Baby Love & The Letter/Deborah Washington
(There's) Always Something There to Remind Me, If You Could Read My
Mind, That Same Old Feeling, Up on the Roof - Viola Wills
