Just some trivia about this song I accidentally
discovered while deciding which year to put it in:

All of the labels of the 7" and 12" versions released
in the United States have a publishing year of 1983.

The LP, however, indicates being published in 1984...
not that odd so far...

...until you find out the single didn't hit the charts
until two years after original release (February 2nd,
1985, at #82).

The song would peak at #41 on March 30th, 1985 and
fall off entirely after May 11th.

Also of minor interest: some of the singles say,
"from the forthcoming LP, "Finally." When the album
was later released, it was titled "The Word Is Out."

I thought this was interesting info, and wanted to
share with somebody... and I thought, who better than
my T40OMCD friends? :-)

For what it's worth, I always thought "Say it again"
from 1987 should have been huge. Very melodic with a
South African vibe.

"Frantic romantic" was a jam too but on the R&B/rare
groove side.
