Database says "actual 45 time is (4:09) not (3:58) as stated on the record label."
4:09 basically matches the LP length of about 4:11.
Curiously, the video version on YouTube runs 3:53.
I've not compared the video the LP version so I don't know if it's edited or faded early, but it sounds to my ears like it fades where I remember it fading when played on the radio (35 years ago).
Can anyone confirm that the 7" PROMO version runs shorter than the LP version, or that the LP version is on both the 12" promo (which lists the LP length on its label) and the 7" promo?

It fades a little early compared to the stock/LP version. It's not an edit.

So. the fade in the video matches the promo 45?

That's a really fast fade in the video at the end. The
database only mentions a 4:09 length.

I don't have the promo--so I don't know what's on the promo.

John that was my confusion. The tracks listed in the database all run about 4:11. The single is listed at 4:09. The single label (incorrectly) lists 3:58. The video runs 3:53.
I suppose there are two questions here:
1) What is the actual LP length: 4:11, or 4:09? (And are the database listings all a little long or just all have silence at the end?)
2) Does the PROMO contain the 4:11, 4:09, 3:58, or 3:53 length?
and maybe 3) Is the video on YouTube accurate to the original video length?
As long as I can find out what the 7" promo length is, I'll have what I need, but others might like the other info. I don't have any of this on vinyl so I really don't have anything here I can check.

The promo 45 has a listed time of 3:58 on 45cat which is
the same listed time as Pat has for the commercial 45. I'm
not sure that there was a shorter length.
