Adam And The Ants - Stand And Deliver was, I believe, faded from the LP version.
It made it to #2 on the UK singles chart but only made it to #38 on the U.S. dance singles chart and didn't impact the Hot 100 singles chart at all.
Does anyone have the single or the promo (which was delivered on 12" as well as 7")? I'd like to get the correct timing on the fadeout on the original analog release.
All Epic record labels consistently say 3:08 for the length but I know labels are notoriously wrong.
Thanks for your help!

Hi Gene,
I can't help you with a dub for reference, but I did find
videos with the shorter 45 playing.

Good thinking! Thank you John.
Using the two YouTube videos posted as a reference, the song truly does completely fade out on the 7" at the equivalent of 3:08 on the album version. The word "Stand" is audible but the following "and deliver" is not.
It is also worth mentioning that with both videos I had to slow them down to match the CD. The first video had to be slowed down 3% to sync, and the second video 2.5%. This may mean the single version was sped up... or it could mean both YouTubers' record players play too fast (which is very common). :-)
I mention the speed difference because IF the single version is sped up then the 3:08 length would no longer be accurate.
