This song only got to number 45 on billboard, but does anyone know if
the 4:02 runtime on the single is an early fade or an edit? Also, there’s
another runtime of 3:18 on the UK 45...anyone know the edit points?

Does the 45 actually run (4:02)? My understanding (and I could definitely be wrong) was the 45 and the LP were the same.

Any follow-up on this? I'm still kinda curious as to whether there is an edit on the US 45, or whether the label time is misreported.

OK, I asked somebody who was selling his 45 on eBay to time it. It does run (4:21).
So unless there are mix differences (which I tend to doubt), the 45 and the LP are the same.

Somebody else on eBay was selling the UK 45, but noted that it ran (4:18) (with a (3:18) run time on the label), so I'm not
sure the UK 45 was any different than the US.
