Last week Billboard announced that their subscriber billboard.biz site was changing to Billboard.com/business. In the process they made all charts available on their free billboard.com site. Not sure if this is a permanent change or just a method to get people hooked on all the charts and then removing some from their free site. In the meantime, what's the point of being a subscriber? What premium services are you paying for? Also, they changed the on-line chart appearance and many folks are unhappy about that.
Doesn't seem that they have contacted their subscribers yet, so not sure if anyone knows the future of Billboard's on-line plans.

I say any changes are welcome. That site has been one big error after another
for 7 years now. It's been disgracefully managed and rife with glitches.

Tried it once a long time ago. Glad to see they are going to take it seriously now (I Hope)...

I have not received any notification from Billboard
regarding this change. I only found out the site was
updated when I accessed billboard.biz. As a
subscriber, this is a ripoff since I am now paying for
something anyone can access for free. I doubt
Billboard will be extending anyone's subscription for
this.
The chart groupings are a bit bizarre. They will
hopefully have a more consistent format among the
charts. Most charts note the Prior Week Position,
Peak Position and Weeks on Chart. But, the main
charts like the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 require you
to literally open each song or album for this
information. Very annoying....

Has anyone heard from Billboard regarding when the login
will be restored? A subscription is currently pointless
as anyone can access all chart data that was once
exclusive to subscribers.
