Just to let everyone know there is a lesser known radio edit that was a limited release. It times in at 3:16.

I do have this disc in my collection, and I will post details ASAP. Jive also sent this mix on promo CD-Rs, which I can supply details on, too.

JDJ-42676-2
1. Album Version (listed 3:30; actual 3:31)
2. Instrumental (listed 3:29; actual 3:30)

JSAM-121
1. non-described version (actual 3:16)

My Jive promo CD-R with the "Music Breakdown Mix" is not handy at the moment, but it's the same version found on JSAM-121. This version removes the slowdown and spoken part that starts at 2:09 and slightly extends the instrumental passage. This segment of music is unique to this version and cannot be created by editing the album version.

As a bit of extra trivia, I just remembered that when I worked at Radio Disney, we played a different edit of "Oops." Our edit removed the line "I'm not that innocent" during the chorus. It's possible that Jive sent it to them, but it's also possible that someone from the production department created it using the instrumental from the promo CD.

For my version of "Oops", I edited out the slowdown spoken part. It edited out easily and felt like a nice edit. But it sounds like what I did is missing a slight bit of music that's on the "non-described" version. Does anyone have this on WAV that they can send? Thanks.

Bumping this one back up. I wasn't aware there was a
unique edit of Oops! I Did It Again.   If anyone has it,
would you mind sending?   Thank you.

This is the version I remember hearing on KDWB/Minneapolis
when Oops was charting. Even though the CD was issued with
a doll, it must have been sent to radio as well.

No need to edit it, the 3:16 mentioned above edits it out officially.

I've never been able to find the CD-R of that. In fact, I clicked on the
discogs link above, but it doesn't work (which has happened for other old
Discogs links). Oops They Did It Again.

Can anyone share a WAV of this?

Just gave that "Music Breakdown Mix" a listen... and didn't love that they couldn't do a better edit than that.

I also made my own edit of "Oops..."; we played it at Fun 107/New Bedford when the song was a current and I have it running now on BIG
101.3/New Bedford. For my edit, I let the song run right up to where the breakdown starts (with the harp glissando included) but added
a 3x layered sample of Britney saying "Stop!", taken from the "Stop" remix of "(You Drive Me) Crazy". At that point, it cuts to the
final choruses on the downbeat.

Is this radio edit I found on YouTube (which is different to the Music
Breakdown edit, but sound clean) real or not?

Creative & fun to listen to. Great idea :)
