A question was raised in the "List of mono and stereo 45s - 1972" thread about whether "Rockin' Robin" was a fold down on Ed's mono 45. Ed forwarded me a copy, and the answer is yes. I did mono/stereo comparisons of both sides of his first two Motown singles ("Got To Be There/Maria" and "Rockin' Robin/Love Is Here And Now You're Gone"), and the mono versions of these songs are all simple fold-downs of the stereo.
His third solo single on Motown was "I Wanna Be Where You Are," which may have only been issued in stereo. (To date, nobody here has stated that they have a mono copy.) Both mono and stereo copies exist for his fourth solo single, "Ben/You Can Cry On My Shoulder." I'd venture a guess that the mono is a fold-down, given that none of his first three singles had dedicated mono mixes.

I have both "Rockin' Robin" and "Got To Be There" as DJ 45s, with mono and stereo sides. I concur with Aaron, both are fold downs in mono.
