Surprised me to not find any info on this one...
There are two versions, a "ten o'clock" and a "one o'clock" version. Anyone
know the story here? I read somewhere that it was due to one o'clock being
too late for Jenny to get home... But I want to know, what version(s) appeared
on the 45, and later on the 1960 LP "The Fabulous Style of The Everly
Brothers".

David, I can at least address your "what lyric appeared on the Poor Jenny
45" question - on my stock 45 copy, at least: ten o'clock. Confirmed as
Cadence 1364, with handwritten deadwax info of "45-203", it has both a
listed & actual time of (2:08).
Speaking of surprised, based on the 3-hour time change I suspect David's
thought is correct about (and BTW, do millennial parties even start before
10PM these days?) Apparently, late partying was more of a 1959 no-no
for girls than getting arrested was, since Jenny spends most of the song
locked up in jail, with no lyrical alteration deemed necessary! :)
While I have the 45 pulled, the Cadence 1364 flip side happened to be a
#16 BB hit (as opposed to a #22 peak for "Poor Jenny")/is also in Pat's db,
so I thought I'd provide the basic particulars for "Take A Message To
Mary" here as well. It has both a listed & actual time of (2:24), with
handwritten deadwax info of "45-202".

My stock Cadence 1364 45 is also the "ten o'clock" version and, like Jim's, runs (2:08).
According to the notes in the booklet accompanying Bear Family's Classic Everly Brothers boxed set, there were three completed takes of "Poor Jenny," all of which were recorded on March 2, 1959. Two of those were the "one o'clock" version, one of which was issued on the UK London American Recordings HLA 8863 45, and was eventually released stateside on Rhino RNLP 213, The Fabulous Style Of The Everly Brothers in 1985.
The second "one o'clock" take remained in the can until surfacing on Rhino's All They Had To Do Was Dream compilation of Everly alternate takes (RNLP 214), also in 1985.
The "ten o'clock" version was the only one of the three to have been issued on Cadence: the Cadence 1364 single in 1959, The Fabulous Style Of The Everly Brothers (CLP 3040/CLP 25040) in 1960, and 15 Everly Hits (Cadence CLP 3062/CLP 25062) in 1963. The latter LP was in print for only about one year before Cadence folded up its tent.
All three variations appear on the Bear Family boxed set.
Susie and Jenny were probably still hot topics at their 50th class reunion. ;)

I have a white pressing Cadence Advance Disk Jockey Pressing and it features "10 O'Clock". Dead wax writing: K90W-3158-4. Whomever
wrote that must have been dyslexic, because they crossed off K90W-3185-4.. The record number 1364-DJ. Label time 2:08. I'm not sure
though if this was the absolute first issue of this single to radio or a later one, as sometimes when labels decided to promote the B
side there was a second issue of promos. This promo doesn't designate a plug side, "Take A Message To Mary" is on the other side as
3157 on the dead wax. Whatever radio station played this particular 45 played the "Poor Jenny" side as it was stickered and numbered.
