I was just alerted by a fellow collector that the CD's I
own with this song are actually an under-dub. I have it on
a Canadian CD "Treasured Tunes Vol 4" and Ace UK "Teenage
Crush Vol 3." On these CD's, while they are good tape
sources, they are missing a bass guitar and light drum
overdub.
Does anyone know if the 2 Time-Life CD's in the database
contain the 45 version with the overdubs?

The track on the Innocents' Ace UK The Complete Indigo Recordings CD includes a couple false starts, but it, too is missing the 45's overdubs. So much for being complete.

Even with the overdubs, that is one spartan production!

The Time-Life cd's are also missing the overdubs.

That it is! Well, thanks for confirming that. And thanks
to Pat and to Santi for confirming the Time-Life discs
too. So this 45 version is M.I.A. on any CD.
