although not in the db the stampeders song "hit the road jack" issued as quality 501 did peak in 1976 at number 40 with a listed run time on the label as 2:45 but actually runs 2:52....

There also is a shorter version that fades out at 2:04
right at the point where Wolfman Jack would be heard (I
call it the "No Wolf" version). There is no phone call at
the start of this version either.

Right, Santi. That's the short side of the mono/mono U.S. DJ 45.

Poor Wolfie... first the Stampeders and then Flash Cadillac trying to drive the 'man to extinction. Next thing you know, we'll be hearing "Clap For The ______." :)
