was wondering what the difference was between the LP and 45 version of above tune, other than the fact that the 45 fades much earlier. I have the song on that Mega Hits Dance Classics CD, where Pat indicates it to be the only occurence of the 45 version, and it has an extra percussion (louder or overdub, not sure) that the LP does not have. Is this the 45?

Yes, this is the 45 version. The mix is different, particularly in the percussion as you mentioned.
