There are two different versions of No, No, No Part 2 by Destiny's Child on cd so I wonder if anyone can add some light as to appropriate designations for the two versions.

The commercial US CD single came in a card sleeve and had three tracks:

1. Part II (featuring Wyclef Jean) - 3:29 (don't know if this is the LP version or not, but it definitely does run a couple seconds longer than 3:26)

2. Part I - 4:01 (produced by Vincent Herbert and Rob Fusari for 3 Boyz From Newark Entertainment) (Possibly what's on This is the Remix)

3. Park II (w/o rap) - 3:05 (I would presume this is what's on Sony Pop Hits)

Don't have a clue where that 3:14 version on their #1s album comes from.

Here's how I would classify the versions (no version listed = LP/45 version):

Columbia 67728 Destiny's Child
Columbia 86431 This Is The Remix (extended version)
Sony Music 61005 90's Pop Hits   (no rap version)
Razor & Tie 89053 Monsta Jamz
Compass Productions 973070560 1990's Dance Party (not sure which version is on this disc, but I'd guess LP/45 version based on the run time)
Sony Urban Music/Columbia 97765 Destiny's Child - #1's   (remixed) This is an edit of the "extended version," and prior to this release, I had never seen this edited version.

Since you're listing "Part II" as part of the title of the song, there's no need to note "Part II" next to each disc. Also there's no need classify which CDs have "Part I" since this was not the hit and was not the lead track on the single. However, as Brian points out above, Part I is included on the US CD single. This Is The Remix also includes "Part II" but an extended version. If my memory serves me correctly, this extended version was commercially available at the time the song was a hit; however, I only have the 3-track single.

I know the official single version of Destiny's Child's "No, No, No" is considered to be "Part 2" featuring Wyclef Jean. But since the other tracks on the commercial CD single that Brian listed above have appeared on domestic CDs (and also on the promo CD single release according to my research), does anyone agree that the track listing and run time info for all three tracks from the "No, No, No" CD single should be listed in the database?

By the way, based on other edited Top 40 tracks that have appeared on Destiny's Child's #1's CD, it looks like "No, No, No" would probably warrant a "neither the 45 nor LP version" database comment on that disc.
