I just picked up the deluxe edition of U2's "The Unforgettable Fire" and on the bonus disc is a (4:40) version of Pride (In The Name Of Love) which the liner notes state is the single version but my 45 is definitely not this (4:40) version so does anyone have any idea where Island Records came up with the "single version" designation?

Pat, the import 12" single of "Pride" has a 4:40 version labeled "Single Version." This same version is also available on a rare import CD single. The 4:40 "Single Version" is the full-length version of "Pride," while the original album contains an edit of this version. Was this version ever issued in the US on a 12" single?
