The actual commercial 45 run time of Alan O'Day's "Undercover Angel" is 3:26. (Thanks to Jim for providing the timing info. The printed record label time is 3:24.) Currently, database CDs with a "45 length" comment run 3:24-3:30.
Has the LP length ever surfaced on an import CD?

Yes, and on a US CD, too! Kind of under the radar, but still a US CD on a non-major label, the full-length album version of "Undercover Angel" can finally be found on CD - on the Alan O'Day CD "Appetizers" - a reissue of the original album, with a bonus cut (a non-LP B-side). The CD can be purchased at www.alanoday.com
It was originally only available on CD from Japan for about a year (and rather expensive) until Alan released it himself. And a much more decent price than the Japanese CDs! From the original tapes.
Since Pat now includes indie label US releases in the database, I highly suggest adding this to the database, as there are people looking for this version and might otherwise not know about it.

Yaaaaayyyy
Thanks Gordon, i've been waiting years for that to come out on cd.
I've stubbornly only played my own disc dub of the LP version because i happen to just like the last 30 seconds of it.

Thanks for this info, Gordon. I ordered the CD after emailing Alan O'Day and verifying that, yes, every track on the album was remastered from the original tapes (including the bonus non-LP B-side) and that, no, it is not a CD-R.
