The actual commercial 45 run time of Jim Stafford's "Spiders & Snakes" is 3:04. (Timing info courtesy of Jim. The printed record label time is 3:03.) Currently, database CD entries run from 2:59-3:05.

Going from memory as the single is not nearby at the moment, the mono and stereo sides of the promotional 45 both run 3:04 and I believe the mono side is just a fold-down of the stereo mix.

Live in stereo.

Are the stereo elements basically the reverb? I tried cutting the center channel on a couple of copies and it just sounded like Jim moved to an gymnasium next door... I want to make sure I'm not missing a "true" stereo copy.

The only version that I'm aware of is either mono with stereo reverb, or the stereo mix is so narrow that it sounds mono, with the only
obvious stereo sound being the reverb.
