FANCY - "Touch Me"

The actual commercial 45 running time is (2:46), and the listed time is "2:45" on the record label. (Big Tree BT-1602). The actual LP running time is (3:45) and the listed time is "3:46" on the LP record label. (The LP title "Wild Thing" Big Tree BT 89502 U.S Pressing).

The LP version has the stormy effect with siren the beginning :14. However, the 45 doesn't have it. Therefore, the CD "Wild Thing" on the database needs the "LP version" description.

my commercial 45 issued as big tree 16026 states the run time as 2:45 but actually runs 2:46 and is an edit and fade of the full length 3:44 cd/lp version......if you edit the front 0:22.5 of the lp version and fade for 0:16 from 2:52 to 3:08 of the full length version you will effectively re-create the proper 45 verson which will run 2:46.....i have the cd in the db and i don't hear any scratches or pops as if it were mastered from vinyl....it is a bit hissy, but doesn't sound as if it was mastered from vinyl.....if it was it's from a pristine copy....this 45 run time info s/b added to the db...

I have both of Fancy's Top 40 hits "Touch Me" (the LP version) and "Wild Thing" on a U.K. import CD containing a 2-fer of the band's albums Wild Thing/Turns You On on Angel Air 094. (This disc is still in print at the present time.) Although the sound quality is a little on the hissy side, the recordings do sound like they came from a tape source.
