Back in the day, when "Who's Johnny" was a hit for El DeBarge, my local top 40 station never played the 15 second intro (which is useless anyway). Is it a case where radio stations were cueing past the intro, or is there a DJ 45 that edits this part off?

I noticed that TM Century also has the song without the intro on their music library.

My white label dj promo has the full introduction.

I was shopping at a grocery store on Tuesday evening. This song was being played but I swear I heard different lyrics during the chorus. Instead of hearing "You know I love you", something else was sang. Again this was heard through ceiling speakers, so anyone's guess.

Here it is: The first chorus is the same but the rest is a tad different. I've never heard this version before this week.

It's more than a *tad* different! This is a previously unreleased mix/version, with completely different lyrics in the last chorus.

I don't know where this version came from, but I'd bet that someone just pulled a wrong source tape for the Millennium collection.

We noticed a similar issue with a video version of "Rhythm Of The Night".

Yes. I never remember hearing the intro part on the air
when the song was in heavy rotation.
