The remastered version of Yes 90125 CD album - Elektra Rhino 73796 - has the single remix version in addition to the LP version. This is not mentioned in the Database.

HOLY COW! Rnell, you are absolutely correct! That disc has been out since February 2004, and none of us knew about it. Thanks for pointing that out.

Is it really a "remix" or is it just one edit point?

Yes, the 45 version of "Leave It" is completely remixed. You cannot edit the LP to get the single.

Aaron, thanks for the facts!
I always thought that the single & album mix were the same due to the nearly identical complex reverb sounds.
However upon additional listening I notice an additional keyboard on the single after the instrumental break, and different harmonies on the second "I can feel no sense of measure..." passage.

Pat, when you get time, you may want to add a song note to the database that both commercial and promo copies feature the "acapella" version of "Leave It" on the flip side. The "acapella" version also appears on the remastered edition of 90125.

Why do we want to start listing flip side information when the flip side was not the charted top 40 hit?

Pat, you generally always list promo 45 & CD information when there is a different version on the flip side. It just so happens that the alternate version is also on the commercial 45.
