I have a "Lap Of Luxury" CD with a different mix of this track. It is missing the :02 vocal intro and is a "softer" mix with less reverb. I assume this hasn't appeared on a U.S. CD as there's no indication. Has anyone heard this mix?

My Lap of Luxury CD contains the mix with the :02 vocal. Do you have a Canadian pressing of this CD, David? Or perhaps you have an earlier pressing of this disc containing an original mix that was replaced on later pressings with the hit single mix?

I just realized that back in '88 or so, I traded my first copy of "Lap of Luxury" with a friend, so I now have the mix with the :02 vocal at the bg as well. I will check with the friend (he lives locally) and report back.

I have the info on the CD with the alternate mix. EPIC EK-40922 1988 made in Canada.
