My promo CD single (ESK 1274) has the following, and, in what may be a first, all 6 versions have the EXACT same listed and actual times!

1-Single Mix (4:10)
2-Dance Mix - Extended (7:45)
3-Dance Mix - Radio Edit (5:21)
4-"Annie" Mix (5:35)
5-Dance Mix - Dub Version (4:45)
6-A Cappella Mix (4:12)

i have the five track US promo, it leaves off the single version. there is also an Instrumental version floating around a scarse 3" Japanese cd.

Regarding Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal", Pat has entered Jim's promo CD single info into the database. I also wanted to add that commercial 45 copies run 4:09. (Timing info compliments of abagon. The printed record label time is 4:10.)

What are the easily identified differences between the LP version and single mix?

I own an early CD pressing of "Bad" that runs 4:19 and is presumably the LP version, as well as the promo 7" that runs 4:10, but other than the single sounding sped-up, I can't really tell a difference.

The most obvious difference is a tom tom fill before the first verse
starts.
