My commercial 45, which is stereo, has a listed time of (2:52), but an actual time of (2:47).

Revisiting this one, after the opening bongos, there is a
clarinet or sax in the beginning before Bobby sings. One
copy of the song I have has this (sax or clarinet) in the
right channel, another copy has it in the left channel.

Does anyone know which channel this opening sax appeared
on the 45?

Interesting, Brian. Jim mentioned above that his
commercial 45 was stereo.

The promo 45 was mono/stereo but the stock
45 was stereo. I don't have a copy of it
anymore, however.

Live in stereo.

I have a copy of the promo 45 that Tom mentioned. The
sax or clarinet at the beginning is on the right channel
on the stereo side of the 45.

Sorry, I had the year of release mixed up on this one.
Carry on!
