I believe that on MTV Party To Go 98, the version is the "extended ride it mix", not the LP version. The database does not list it as a remix.

You can assume that these cd's like "MTV Party To Go 98" that segue all the selections together are remixed.

3-instrumental (5:18 listed; 5:17 actual)
4-a cappella (3:48 listed; 3:47 actual)
this is in conflict with the info listed in the db as below

The commercial CD single does match the album version up to the 4:10-ish mark. At that point on the LP version, once the main part of the song has faded out, there is an additional part that seems totally unrelated. I don't remember if this is a skit or "interlude," but we used to play "Pony" directly from the full-length CD at the radio station where I worked when it was a hit. The DJ was always supposed to dump out of the song before that additional section played. Because the CD single is calling the 4:12 version the "Album Version," I always thought that the additional piece at the end of the actual LP was just an un-named interlude that they didn't put on a separate track.

I have a few different promo CD singles for "Pony." Two of them have remixes, but the one that may be of interest is the following:
BSK 8227
1. Album Version (printed 5:25; actual 4:12)
2. Extended Mix (printed & actual 5:20)
3. Instrumental (printed & actual 5:18)
4. A Cappella (printed 3:48; actual 3:47)
Like commercial CD single, the "Album Version" only contains the first part of the track. Starting at 4:12, the full-length album segues into a skit with a beat behind it. This part of the track serves more as an interlude to transition into the next song and really is unrelated to "Pony."
