This one just missed the top 40 stalling at #52 in 1983. It was severely cut from 7:21 down to 3:40 for single release, and I was wondering if anyone armed with the 45 could describe the edit points.

The last Prince cut on my list is Anotherloverholeinyohead, which was edited from 4:00 to 3:23.

I've got the rest of his hot 100 entries in single length if anyone needs details. :)

(PS- Sorry to annoy anyone with these kind of requests, particularly with stuff that didn't quite make the top 40. I really appreciate the help many of you are able to provide.)

If you can give me some time on this, I may have the 45 (or a dub of the 45) for "Let's Pretend We're Married." I'm not certain on "Anotherloverholeinyohead"; however, the extended 12" mix is fantastic! I own two copies of it.

Huge thanks to aaronk for his help with Let's Pretend We're Married!!! I personally think I prefer the edited version to the full LP length.

I'm still seeking info re: Anotherloverholeinyohead if anyone is able to help out with a file or edit point info.

Quick question on the edit; does it start with two quick "cha-cha!" drum beats, or does it start right on the downbeat of one?

If you mean "Let's Pretend" I have never seen a shorter version except on the vinyl 45. The 12" vinyl maxi-single had the LP version. The flip side on the same 12" single is the version of "Irresistable Bitch" that is on the The Hits/The B-Sides CD.
