How are you calculating the Top Artists list? In the book's description, you mention how Morgan Wallen ranks as the 11th biggest artist ever. Clearly, you must be counting all the album tracks he charted on Hot Country Songs in addition to the singles that charted on Country Airplay. Did you weigh or prioritize placement on one chart more than or over the other to calculate this?

After much deliberation, we decided to keep the point system exactly the same from the last edition. The Country Airplay chart numbers always take precedence over the Hot Country Songs numbers, unless a song ONLY made the Hot Country Songs chart, then it gets full credit. Yes, the album cuts do get counted, but many of them only chart for a few weeks, so it really doesn't skew the numbers as bad as you might think. You may also be surprised how many big Airplay hits that Morgan Wallen has racked up since the previous edition. IMO, the Top 300 artists are a great mix of new and old. And Eddy Arnold is still comfortably sitting at #1.

Great news! Any chance there could be a digital edition? Like the Adobe edition of a couple of the pop books? A great big book in front of my keyboard can be cumbersome.

We don't have any immediate plans for a digital edition of this particular book. Most of our customers still prefer the print books. That said, we're exploring all digital options since that's where the world is headed these days.

I'm of mixed feelings on this. On one hand, Robert makes a good point about the books getting large and cumbersome, especially when trying to work on a computer (my country book is the 2012 edition and isn't too bad, but the pop books are getting quite bulky). OTOH, it's nice to have reference books in the analog world...don't need to be in front of a screen to use them!
Don't know how you'd prevent illegal copying of an e-book.
