Paranoimia by The Art of Noise with Max Headroom
The retail US 45, cat# VS4 43002, runs a little over 3:17, printed 3:18.
There are two promo 45s which I don't have, but based on other discographies: • VS4 43002 is same as the retail 45, just with promo text on the labels. • VS4 43070 has the 4:46 LP version on side A and the "3:18" single version on side B.
These are the official versions were released in 1986: • 4:46 LP version • 3:17 single version (with Max Headroom) • 6:40 Extended Version (with Max Headroom), which we can call 12" version • 6:32 Paranoid Mix (with Max Headroom), which we can call alternate 12" version • 4:55 live version
On some reissues of the In Visible Silence album, the 12" version replaced the LP version. The database currently says the 6:40 version is the LP version, but I'd like that to be changed to 12" version.
If albums have years attached to them in the database, set China/Polydor 835806 to 1988, and set Discovery 74108 to 1992.
Please add the following US CD appearances to the database: • [1986] (S) (4:46) China/Chrysalis 41528 In Visible Silence (LP version) • [1986] (S) (6:40) China/Chrysalis 41567 Re-Works of Art of Noise (single version) • [1986] (S) (4:55) China/Chrysalis 41567 Re-Works of Art of Noise (live version) • [1993] (S) (4:46) China/Off-Beat 01016 In Visible Silence (LP version) • [1994] (S) (3:17) China/Off-Beat 20127 Best Of (single version)

I changed the four discs listed to match your comments - that was easy.
Adding the new discs isn't as straightforward, and I don't have the discs to confirm. I'll defer to Aaron for that.

Thanks. I have Chrysalis VK 41528 and VK 41567 ripped and verified. For the Off-Beat reissues I'm relying on external discographies and rips which I got elsewhere and can't be 100% sure about.
That said, I'm certain there were no edits or fades of this track anywhere, and when I checked today, I saw that the speed was consistent on all the releases I do have (maybe a half-second of variation at most).
