The total number of posts are now found in each member's profile. Yours says 5006. The forum software also uses a point system, which is what you see displayed next to your posts. You can rack up points pretty quickly by posting new threads, replying, and being "thanked" by other members. These are currently on the default settings:

Create New Topic: 2 points
Post Reply: 1 point
Post Answer/Resolution: 5 points (This is currently set to 'admin' but I can change it so that all members can mark a post as an answer/resolution.)
