Bringing this one back, can the 3:58 DJ edit be recreated from the LP version?

Negative. There are unique drums on the intro.

 Hey Aaron,
Are the unique drums on the intro only on the promo or does the commercial have the same unique drums? I guess what I am really asking is can the LP version can be edited to make the commercial 45? Thanks. -Jeff

It's been about 14 years since I edited this one down, and
I didn't save any notes, but I do remember that I had to double the length of the drum-only intro, and that the rest of it was pretty straightforward. Anyone else remember more clearly than I do?

You can get a very close approximation by doing what Ron did--
looping the drums of the LP version. I tried to do this every way possible, and I couldn't get it to exactly match the 45. My conclusion is that all 45 versions--promo and stock--have a unique intro.
