My favorite song of all time just came on - which made wonder - what is YOUR favorite song of all time?

Mine is ...

Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes) - Edison Lighthouse

Until The Last Moment (Live At The Acropolis) - Yanni.

That song. That version.

PS: I wouldn't call it a song. It actually is a masterpiece.

ABBA - "Dancing Queen." I'll never forget the first time I heard this song on the local AM radio station the last week of December 1976. I had just spent my Christmas $5.00 from my grandfather to buy ABBA's first greatest hits album. So I was definitely ready for their latest single to introduce the next album "Arrival," even though at that time I had no idea what they were singing! I went to find the 45 within a few days. Still a HUGE fan, and grateful for the group's unexpected reappearance with the "Voyage" album.

Darkness by the Police. That and Missing by Everything But The Girl. Wore my cassette tape of EBTG with it that time.
Favorite two expressions to live by on this board: "You can't download vinyl" and "Not everything is available on CD."

"As" by Stevie Wonder. "I Wish" may be a close second.
There's a lot of crap on the radio, but there's only one Crap From The Past.

I would say my favorite song of all-time would probably be “I Wanna Be With You” by Raspberries. The song is a three minute (or so) blast of energy from start to finish, and I’m always ready to crank it up when it comes on. I actually made the intro section my ringtone.

“Cherish” is in my Top 10, by the way, so great choice, Dan.

Wow, hard to narrow it down to just one song, but one that would be very high on my list would be "The Wheel" - Rosanne Cash. My first wife (RIP) and I kind of considered it "our song", and to hear it reminds me of her to this day.
Funny how one (or in this case two) people's favorite can be the complete opposite to another. Disliked "Cherish" from the first time I heard it, still do.
