Why do they do this? Why does the version of the new Ringo Starr Greatest Hits album have a different line up in stores than it does on iTunes, both versions leaving off a top 40 hit? (Oo-Wee on the store version, Dose Of Rock & Roll on the iTunes version) It's stuff like this that ticks me off with today's music market.

Not only that, they always seem to screw something up, like cutting off the countdown to Oh My My and Snookeroo.

Perhaps it's licensing--the original CD where "A Dose Of Rock And Roll" was is one of the few Ringo CDs not available on iTunes. So perhaps that track hasn't been cleared to be sold by iTunes.
Which is a bummer, I would've liked to have gotten it without forking full-price for either CD. |

Maybe... though I still think it's odd that they're cleared for the new CD, but not all the tracks on it. |

If you're looking to purchase "Oh My My" with the beginning countdown, it's available digitally on the 1973 "Ringo" release. Of course, the song is at LP length.

Actually, it's quite common there, and on other online download stores. Edited by The Hits Man |

I know. I have both that CD, and the DCC CD. |

Hits Man have you found a US cd that cuts off the countdown on Oh My My?
