   I remember hearing/reading about the label issue too. Chad Kroeger was permitted to be on the album version but not on the single, which is why it was re-recorded. Shame, it would've made a great single with Chad Kroeger esp. since Nickelback was very popular at the time (but that may have been the reason).
About 4-5 years later in 2007, Santana and Chad Kroeger were finally able to collaborate on a single "Into The Night".
