Anyone know if the actual 45 runs 3:00 as the label says or 3:30 like it appears on the comps and LP?

Based on the 45 promo obtained and dubbed by the 45 prof, actual running time is 3:38 in mono. That's a 38 second difference from the label to actual running time! Crazy...
The LP in stereo fades at 3:23 to 3:28 but is missing the 15 seconds of fade that the 45 has at 3:23. That seems to be the major difference. |

Rich- My 45 RPM stock copy single runs 3:32.9 in mono on Ode 66003. It's the Monarch pressing. -Bill.

I ended up ordering the 45 promo thinking it could possibly run the 3 min the label said with a fade. So now we know the label was wrong. Thanks. |
