I've had the Euro CD single of "Indian Outlaw" for years. It has the European Version, the US Version, and the Dance Version.
I finally compared the European Version to the US Version. Since they list the same runtime, 2:59, I figured they might actually be the same. Nope! Totally different mix and edit: no fiddle at all on the European version, and no "Cherokee People" bit at the end -- instead, they repeat the "You can find me in my wigwam" verse and add one more chorus, followed by a long instrumental. About the final 35 seconds of the song are instrumental on the European Version. There is also a brief instrumental section between some of the verses. And the runtime is not the same, despite the listed runtime -- US version runs 2:59, European version runs 3:02. Edited by Brian W. - 3 hours 41 minutes ago at 1:27pm |
