Eevrything on Qobuz is in mono (the 45 was stereo) so no luck there. I'm sure they are from vinyl just don't know why they are in mono.

The only other Top 40 hit on MGM South that I can think of, Sami Jo's "Tell Me A Lie", also does not appear to have ever been issued on CD.
MGM South was a 'boutique' label established for the clients of manager/music publisher Bill Lowery. Although I can't find any confirmation anywhere, it is likely that under the agreement between Lowery (who died about twenty years ago) and MGM, he maintained at least some degree of ownership of the recordings. |
