This board never fails to educate me. I guess in the US there was no issue with the lyrics so I would presume that got the airplay? Doug's question about that I see never really got answered...

I doubt many Americans had any idea what Marks & Sparks meant, I sure didn't at the time. Both versions seemed to get about equal airplay from what I recall. Wasn't much of a hit here anyway, barely making it into the top 40. |
