Both my commercial 45, and the short side of my promo 45 have a listed & actual time of (3:40). But the long side of my promo 45 has both a listed & actual time of (4:51).

The single version released in the band's native Australia was the same as the US album/video version (I believe it is an edit of the 12" dance mix). I am bringing this up because the band just did an abridged performance of the song on the popular Australian game show Spicks and Specks

A relevant quote from Pseudo Echo's Facebook:
The original 7” single version had a completely different intro to the one we all know. Originally it had a long, drawn out atmospheric intro (apparently a cross between Dire Stait’s “Money For Nothing” and Loverboy’s “Turn Me Loose”), but at the last minute just before mastering, it was decided that the intro should be cut down, and replaced with the intro from the extended version, featuring Canham’s iconic guitar riff.
