just so you know, the full 3:50 cd/lp version is identical to the 45 vesion except that the 45 truncates the intro a fraction of a second.....it is easily replictaed by just editing off the first millisecond of the drum roll.... |

Ed, you mentioned this back on June 27 and I agree with you on the introduction. I have yet to find the 45 version on cd.

my commercial 45 issued as scoti brothers 05663 states a run time on the label as 3:51 but actually runs 3:49......and as i've stated previously.....if you truncate, ever so slightly, the intro by a millisecond, you will have effectively recreated the true vinyl 45 version......
